Creative Writing - Scripts

We are learning to write scripts to create a play.

We know we are successful if our script has:
- multiple characters
- a setting
- character speech
- stage direction (in a different colour to the speech)

Once we have written our scripts we are creating the plays using Puppet Pals.

My play is called "Meagan's Play"

Reading Pukeko

I am learning to to record key in formation.

I'll know I can do this when I can find and locate key information and record key information.

Next time I will make my SMLs neater.

Maths Tapatoru

I am learning to solve addition and subtraction problems by counting on or backwards in my head.
I'll know I can do this when I can solve addition and subtraction problems by counting on/back in my head in ones up to 100.
Something I found hard was the counting up and down in my head.

Art Don Binney

We are learning to create art inspired by Don Binney. I'll know I can do this when I have created a landscape with a foreground, middle, and background.

My bird and my background are coloured using pastels and natural colours.
Something I liked was doing the bird.

Writing Reports

I am learning to write an information report. I'll know I can do this when I can write a report with a title, classification, description, location and a group of facts about a subject. Next time I will make it better by making it more interesting.
